Do you love reading good Christian books? What about discussing what you have read with others? Then, especially if you live in middle Georgia, the “Great Christian Books” community may be for you. “Great Christian Books” is not a formal group, but an informal group containing people who love to read and meet for discussion. Basically what happens is we read a book on our own and then meet occasionally to discuss it together. Even if you are unable to make the meetings or live too far away to come, you can still be involved by sending comments or questions in through text, email, Facebook, etc. The book we are reading now is “The Ten Commandments,” by Kevin DeYoung, and we are meeting April 6th at 9:00 am at Double Branch Free Will Baptist Church to talk about it. If you are interested in knowing more about the reading community you can visit our Facebook page or contact me. I plan to post in the future about new books we are reading. Maybe you will be part of our group one day or maybe you won’t, but no matter which will be the case, what books are you reading right now? Do you have any that you plan to read in the near future?
