An Update

An Update

I wanted to share an update of ministry. I have been blessed to pastor Double Branch Free Will Baptist Church since late March, 2018. Last Sunday morning I announced to the Church that I believe I have been led of the Lord to go to another ministry. We will greatly miss our dear Christian brothers and sisters. People at Double Branch Church have been such a blessing in our lives. It has been one of the great privileges of my life to pastor these people. Double Branch Church, the Georgia Union Association, and the Georgia State Association of Free Will Baptists have really loved us. Cortney, the kids, and myself are grateful to God for the years spent here and the friendships that will go on into eternity. We love you.

I am also blessed to be returning to Grace Church in Dickson, Tennessee, (a Free Will Baptist congregation) and will be senior pastor. This is the Church I was once an assistant pastor of. Pastor Jeff Lankford has led the Church in faithfulness. We have many friends there and are looking forward to the ministry that will be at Grace Church. My first Sunday will be May 31st.

Please pray for these dear Churches, as well as for us.

“As we prepare for this transition, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Brother Clint Adams for his steadfast leadership and guidance at Double Branch Free Will Baptist Church.

Clint has been more than a mentor; he has been a cornerstone of our community, helping us navigate complex questions with wisdom and patience. His dedication to the ‘3 A’s’ and ‘4 P’s’ frameworks has given many of us the tools to grow both personally and spiritually. While we will deeply miss his presence and the clarity he brings to our discussions, the foundation he helped build here will continue to support us all. We wish him nothing but the best in his next chapter.”

    Personal Thank-You Note

A shorter, more direct message from you to him.

    “Brother Clint,

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank you for everything you’ve done for me and for the Double Branch family. Your mentorship and your willingness to answer my questions have meant more to me than I can put into words. You’ve truly been a guiding light in my journey of leadership and personal growth.

I am going to miss our conversations and your presence at the church, but I’m so grateful for the time we’ve had. Thank you for being such an important part of my ‘village’ and for always pointing me in the right direction.

    With deep appreciation,

    [Austin Tidwell ]”
